Haddenham Screen (HS) takes your privacy seriously and we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy explains when and why we collect personal information.
How do we collect information about you
Haddenham Screen only holds information that you give us when you ask to join our mailing list or when you buy tickets for HS screenings or events. The latter information may be given to us directly or indirectly:
- You may give us the information directly when you buy tickets at our box office (currently run by Haddenham Community Library), at the door of our events or at other HS publicity events (eg Haddenham Fete or Community Fair)
- You may give us the information indirectly when you purchase tickets online via our website (www.haddenhamscreen.org.uk). Haddenham Screen does not obtain details about individuals from any other 99third parties.
What type of information is collected from you
To enable Haddenham Screen to send information to you, we will collect the following information
- Contact information – name, email address, postal address, telephone number
How is your information used
Haddenham Screen will only use your personal information to send you details of our screenings of events.
Who has access to your information
Haddenham Screen will not sell, rent or share your information with third parties.
In addition, if contact details for a member are requested from the HS Committee, the Committee will contact the member concerned to obtain consent that those specific contact details may be shared.
How you can access your information
The accuracy of your information is important to us. You can view, update or remove the information that we hold about you by contacting the HS Committee at Haddenham Screen at films@haddenhamscreen.org.uk or by writing to Haddenham Screen c/o 12 Wykeham Gate, Haddenham, Bucks HP17 8DF
Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
Haddenham Screen does not hold any sensitive information (such as credit/debit card details). Non- sensitive details (your email address etc) are transmitted normally over the internet and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while Haddenham Screen will strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security on information that is transmitted to us electronically. Once Haddenham Screen receives your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our system, which comprises a spreadsheet maintained on a personal computer owned by the HS Chairman. No personal information is held on the HS website.
